The improved Luna Series hibiscus is hardy to USDA zone 5 and in cooler climates, they benefit from some light mulch in the winter. The distinctive trumpet-shaped blooms open to a width of 6″ to 8″. The 3 foot tall by 2 foot wide plants are beautiful single specimen plants, but are also bushy, making very effective borders and hedges. Though a bit pricey they will provide a remarkable experience each year with their many blooms.
