Part of the Karin Larsson collection, the pattern Portiere is inspired by Karin’s textile work. One of her most famous pieces is the beautiful woven portiere between Karin and Carls bedrooms, called The Rose of Love. At the bottom, Karin had woven a few asymmetrical waves which caught Cathys attention. Inspired by the overlapping organic shapes and the stream running outside Karins bedroom window, she created this abstract, wavy print. Cathys waves are vertical instead of horizontal and the color scheme is inspired by the nature surrounding Lilla Hyttns.

Use: As it is a lighter weight fabric, it is best suited for lighter applications such as curtains, decorative cushions, and headboards. Please note that over exposure to sunlight may slightly fade the fabric over time.
