Reader 6 contains Ukrainian translations of Indian and Inuit legends. Stories of the adventures of pioneers in the Rocky Mountains and on the Canadian Prairies. The book uses many names and words not of Ukrainian origin so that the student may appreciate the similarity of these stories to English language stories. The workbook builds on vocabulary used in the previous readers and has a wide variety of exercises for sequencing, crosswords, and comprehension.
