The Oregon Sugar Pod II Pea is an edible pod snow pea often used in Chinese cuisine. Unlike snap peas, it is best harvested at a very immature stage, when the forming peas are just barely visible. This relatively new variety was developed at Oregon State University and has a fairly short vine (30-36), so it isnt absolutely necessary to support it. Pods are smooth and ready for harvest when 4 long. Flavor is sweet and mild. 50
