The Provider Bush Bean is a popular stringless bush bean in New England. It is reasonably early on plants that are quite compact. Size is 5-6 and yield is good. Disease resistance is a strong point. Harvest:Before the seeds bulge and beans snap easily. Pick continually every 2-3 days to prolong production.

Dry soil can result in low yields and fibrous pods.Do not over-fertilize the Provider Bush Bean with nitrogen, which results in a surplus of foliage and low, delayed pod growth.
